❤ The "Baked Chicken Fajita Roll Ups" Story From Pinned To Pincomplished.

Let's just say these were really good, but the making of this dinner was kind of uncomfortable on the account of me being a "Hangry" bitch.

But it's not like I didn't ask my husband like FOUR times to leave the beach at a reasonable time...

but noooooo, he's was all happy and drinking beer....
and didn't want to leave.

So, I'm not sure my meltdown was ENTIRELY my fault.

What were we talking about?
Oh yes.

1st. I didn't want to bang the meat.

{ ohhhh, the jokes I had to listen to when I mentioned that on the way to the beach O_o .  - BOYS. }

Last time we made steak roll ups and we had to bang the meat, I thought our building was going to fall down,
or that we'd get evicted.
That's how much noise banging meat made.
So, I wasn't looking forward to that.

But chicken.
Chicken takes no time at all to bang out.
And there was no god awful banging noise.
If fact, I banged too hard at first and kinda ruined the chicken.
The piece of chicken in my pincomplished picture was the nicest looking piece.

2nd.
Sometimes I don't read the recipes all the way through.
I just make sure I have all the ingredients and call it a day.

And because of this, I ALWAYS miss the marinading part.
And Kelly mentioned NOT to forget the marinading part like twice in her blog post!!

And so the chicken wasn't marinaded.
Well, shit.

So I tossed all the marinade ingredients into a container, threw the chicken in, gave it a few shakes and cut the peppers.

It still all came out delicious, but if I make these again,
I won't forget the marinading part...

3rd.
I was really bratty.

And this caused my husband to go into banana rage and clean the whole kitchen around me banging stuff as he went and he whacked me in the boob by accident.
I had to eat alone.
Nobody would talk to me.

So the lessons here:
READ the recipe all the way through....
so you don't miss important details...
AND
make sure you leave the beach when you WANT to leave the beach, so you don't get punched in the boob by accident.

From PINNED:

I give this recipe :

I probably would have given it 5 hearts had I MARINADED the chicken.
DUH.
