"I have to say that I was a bit intimated, though.
First, at the thought of making poached eggs." - Sonia

Poaching eggs flat out intimidates me.
I know I should just watch a video like Sonia did,
but most of the time,
I'm just so hungry, a plain ol' runny egg will do.
And today, I was all about making the PERFECT
Quinoa Cake.
At first it wasn't looking good because I
had to break down her recipe to a serving for one.
That meant that my quinoa cake batter came out a little runny...
What to do?
What to do?
And then a lightbulb went off in my head and
I got like the GREATEST IDEA EVA.
I got like the GREATEST IDEA EVA.
And because of my genius idea, look how perfect my quinoa CAKE came out?!
I made TWO cute little cakes...
and lets just say ONE was not as pretty.....
And they were a bitch to make.
I burnt my hand a few times trying to get those suckers
to come out so perfect.
Once on the egg rings and once
on the damn pan.
Once on the egg rings and once
on the damn pan.
....but the burns were worth it....
These quinoa cakes were VERY DELICIOUS.
I kinda want to spend a day making JUST the quinoa cakes.
And maybe one day I'll learn how to poach an egg.
